BOOKINGS

How far ahead should I book?

Advance bookings are recommended for SUPA GOLF games (9 or 18 Holes) to ensure availability, with the exception of last-minute same day bookings, where you can just walk in on the day at your preferred time and join the queue.

What are the peak periods?

From late November, throughout December in the run up to Christmas & Year End, School Holidays, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Public Holidays are especially busy periods for us.

Therefore, it is strongly recommended to book as far in advance as possible (especially for larger groups) in order to secure availability and to avoid disappointment.

What are the peak times?

Our peak times are between 10.00am and 2.00pm Fridays to Sundays and all day on public holidays.

Therefore, our 18 hole off peak discount and Dusk & Dawn discount are not applicable during these times.

Do you accept same day bookings?

We are unable to process same day bookings, as our onsite staff are busy serving our golfers. You are welcome to walk-in at your preferred time and join the queue. Please note there may be wait times of up to 30 minutes during peak periods.

Are bookings required for SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF)?

Advance bookings are not required for groups of 10 players or less, you can just walk in on the day at your preferred time and join the queue. For groups of 11 or more players, or during busy school holidays, advance booking is recommended.

What if I'm not sure how many are coming yet?

All bookings of 6 players or more (SUPA GOLF) or 10 players or more (SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF)) require payment in full up-front, and as all payments are non-refundable, we really need to know the numbers at the point of booking.

We understand this may be tricky to know when making a booking in advance, so where numbers are still uncertain, we normally recommend balancing booking and paying for a conservative number you’re confident will attend on the day, with paying for enough players to secure enough tee times that you can add some more on the day.

If you add a note in your booking request giving us a minimum/maximum number of players you anticipate attending, then we will recommend booking and paying for the minimum recommended number of players which will secure you the maximum number of tee times you’d need.

Please note we kindly request you do not make a booking with uncertain numbers and leave it unpaid until you are more certain, as this not only prevents other people making bookings it may result in your booking being cancelled to allow others to play, especially during Busy Periods.

What's the max group size for a tee time?

Tee times are booked at 10 minute intervals. The maximum group size for a tee time at SUPA GOLF is 5 players.

The reason for the maximum group size of 5 is that for every extra player above that, it gets extra slow – which holds up all the groups behind and slows down the whole course for the day.

So we have to balance what’s fair for everyone – which means splitting up a larger group.

What about really large groups (30+ players)?

For 30+ players for SUPA GOLF, we recommend what’s called a “shotgun start”, where everyone is sent out in groups to different tees on one of our 9 hole courses *, and then all play simultaneously. This is by far the most efficient way to get everyone out and back again at the same time, and to avoid queuing and waiting on the first tee and long waits for the players who finish first.

Shotgun starts are generally only suitable for off peak times because to run a shotgun start one, or both *, of the courses must be empty. This means we can’t take any bookings for up to 2 hours before your tee time. This, in turn, means you would have to pay your green fees plus the equivalent of 60 green fees per course (to cover our losses) during peak times, which is a little rich for most of our golfers.

So, for off peak times we only charge a little extra for that. The pricing for that can be found in the Times and Pricing section of the website. By special arrangement we could consider running an after hours private event, subject to availability of staff.

If, however, you don’t want to pay for the shotgun start the alternative is that we split your group up across both the front and back courses, and groups go out one after the other – which means waiting on the first tee for the latter groups, and everyone finishing at different times.

To ensure your event and check-in process runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible, we’ll ask your whole group to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes before your booked tee time and come prepared with a list of pre-assigned teams of 5, and that people organise themselves into these groups to collect their trolleys and score cards before all the teams head out to begin play.

* most groups play a shotgun start on one of our 9 hole courses. Only exceptionally large groups could be split across both of our 9 hole courses to play a shotgun start (typically groups of 90+ players), at our discretion and subject to the appropriate fees.

How do I make a booking?

All our pricing information can be found on the Times and Pricing page of our website and our booking system generates an instant quote when you fill in the form, before you submit so you can see an estimate before you commit.

To submit a booking request, please go to our website and click on BOOK A TIME, found on any of the pages, and it’ll take you through all the necessary information required for us to book you in. It will generate an instant quote for you, and then we will issue a payment request and secure your booking ASAP.

I submitted a booking form but I'm not sure it worked. How can I be sure?

When you submit a Booking Form on our website, if you see this pop-up message, then great news, it was successfully sent! (so there’s no need to submit another one ‘just in case’ or message us to ask!)

Will I get a booking confirmation?

Please note bookings are not confirmed until you hear back from one of the SUPA GOLF team, after you submit your Booking Request.

Whilst we endeavour to process all bookings within 24 hours of receipt, this may not always be possible due to the high volume received, particularly during peak periods such as Christmas, school holidays and public holiday weekends.

All bookings are treated on a first come, first served basis, in the interest of fairness. We therefore kindly request that you do not submit multiple requests for the same booking or call to chase up.   We appreciate your patience.

Help! I made a mistake on my Booking Form. How do I fix it?

To swiftly and effectively manage your booking, the best way forward is to fill out our Non-Booking Enquiry Form. Simply let us know the changes you need, and we’ll get right on it. This form is easily accessible on our ‘Contact Us‘ page.

This approach helps us immensely as we handle over 5,000 booking requests each month in the order they’re received. Submitting multiple requests for the same booking without explaining the changes in the Notes section can lead to a bit of a tangle in our process. While we’re pretty good at what we do, we haven’t mastered mind-reading yet! So, clear communication helps speed things up for everyone, including you.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in making our booking process smooth and efficient for all!

I already made my booking, but things have changed. How do I amend or cancel my booking?

Should you need to cancel or modify your existing booking – like changing the number of players, tee time, or date – we’ve got two easy options for you:

  1. Simply reply to your Booking Confirmation email.
  2. Or, fill out the Non-Booking Enquiry Form on our ‘Contact Us‘ page.

We kindly request that you refrain from submitting a new Booking Form for these changes. This helps us streamline our process and serve you better.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!

What if I booked ages ago, will I get another confirmation nearer the time?

Great news – if you’ve already received your Booking Confirmation email and settled your invoice (especially for groups of 6 or more players), you’re all ready to go! Rest assured, no further confirmation will be sent.

However, if you have any special requests you’d like to double-check, or if there are any changes you need to make to your booking, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us in the week leading up to your booking. We’re here to ensure everything goes smoothly for your visit!

Thanks for choosing us, and we’re looking forward to seeing you!

PAYMENTS & DISCOUNTS

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cashless, card payments only, either online or in person. Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express cards welcome.  Mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported.

When booking in advance for groups of 6 or more players, our point-of-sale system Square will send you an email with a link to a secure payment system which will allow you to do that over the internet.

Please note we cannot process bank transfers or over-the-phone payments or accept cash payments, which sit outside our point-of-sale system and creates undue admin burden for the bookkeepers to manually reconcile.

What are your payment terms?

Small Groups
Groups of up to 5 players, pay on arrival.

Large Groups
Groups of 6 players or more for SUPA GOLF or 10 players or more for SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF), will be sent an invoice from our point-of sale- system Square (separate from their Booking Confirmation email) and are required to pay in full within 24 hours of Booking Confirmation / Invoice Date.

Please note that we can only hold unpaid bookings for 24 hours, after which time we may cancel any unpaid bookings to accommodate other enquiries as needed, especially during Busy Periods, such as Public Holidays, the run up to school holidays or Christmas and year end.

Do you take deposits?

We don’t take deposits to secure bookings.

The reason we can’t take deposits is that it creates too much admin for us monitor, chase up and take additional payments for them – it simply isn’t sustainable for us due to the very high volume of bookings we have to process (thousands per month). If it helps you feel any better, we don’t even make exceptions for the largest groups (100+ players).

What's your refund policy?

Please note that all payments are non-refundable.

Bookings can be rearranged or exchanged for a credit by giving 2+ days’ notice. Change of mind, no-shows and last-minute cancellations (within 48 hours of the playing / service date) are not entitled to a credit.

Do you accept concessions?

We do accept WA Consession cards, and photo id for seniors (over 65’s).

Unfortunately we do not offer student discounts.

Do you accept companion cards?

If you are making an online booking, we will ask you to redeem the voucher and provide us the code in order to process the discount on your invoice.

If you are paying in person, we will ask you to redeem and show us the voucher at the kiosk, before processing your payment.

What is the "off peak discount"?

For 18 holes of SUPA GOLF, if you tee off anytime during the week (Monday to Friday; excluding Public Holidays), or before 10.00am or after 2.30pm at the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) you will be entitled to the off-peak discount. See Times & Pricing page of our website for prices.

FOOD & DRINK

What food & drink do you offer?

Our kiosk currently caters for ice-cold refreshing soft drinks. We also have a range of sweets, lollies, crisps, chips and ice-creams.

Why not drop by to pick up something to eat and drink before or after your game?

Are there any other food & drink options?

There’s an awesome new food and drink option right next door to Supa Golf – Gerry’s Deli.

Gerry’s is a New York-inspired deli that sells hearty sandwiches jam-packed with ingredients, and great coffee! Gerry’s Deli also sells cold cuts, cheese platters, and tasty, sweet treats.

Why not drop by for something to eat and drink before or after your game!

Do you offer food & drink packages?

As of now, we don’t offer combined package deals that include both golf and food/drink.

However, we’re always looking to enhance the experience at our venue, and this is something we might consider in the future. We recommend checking back on our website or following us on our social media channels for any updates on our offerings.

Is alcohol / BYO allowed?

We permit BYO alcoholic drinks, which are limited to two (2) standard-sized drinks per person which can be brought onto the golf courses. Small eskies or cooler bags are allowed.

NB SUPA GOLF and SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF) is a family-friendly venue.

We’re happy to let you know that while we’re all for a good time, we also keep it family-friendly at Supa Golf and Supa Putt (Mini Golf). We kindly ask that any celebrations are enjoyed in moderation. Our atmosphere is one where both laughter and good manners make the game better for everyone, especially during weekends and school holidays when the little ones are around.

Please understand that if behaviour or language strays from what’s suitable for all ages, we may have to step in and ask for the game to wrap up early.

We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our venue welcoming and enjoyable for everyone!

Are spectators allowed?

Sorry, we don’t allow spectators on any of the SUPA GOLF or SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF) courses.  For further information, check out the Where can we spectate or socialise? question below.

For anyone wishing to accompany players or supervise kids aged 14 and under around the course, the appropriate green fees are payable, whether they play or not, with the exception of carers accompanying companion card holders or babies / young toddlers who are unable to walk around the course and can be harnessed in a pram throughout.

What about kids?

SUPA GOLF and SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF) is a family-friendly venue.  We welcome kids of all ages, abilities and needs. This includes families, primary and secondary schools, colleges, outside school hours care providers etc.

All kids aged 14 and under must be accompanied by the appropriate number of adults on the SUPA GOLF or SUPA PUTT (MINI GOLF) courses and whether the adults choose to play, or not, the appropriate green fees will be payable (with the exception of carers accompanying companion card holders).

This not only ensures the paramount safety of all kids, particularly on a large golf course where they may encounter water hazards, but also to provide the appropriate level of supervision so everyone can play responsibly and enjoy their time with us.

Where can we spectate or socialise?

For spectators waiting while the rest of their family, friends, or colleagues are out on the courses; or for those players (and non-players) who wish to socialise before or after their game, or whilst waiting to start or for the rest of their group to finish, we have a few great options:

  • A large, undercover alfresco veranda area with seating for up to 60, which faces the lush gardens
  • A picnic bench area, mostly shaded by trees, which seats up to 30 and is located next to the playground (about 30 meters opposite the Clubhouse)

These seating areas are available to all our customers on an unreserved, first come, first served basis.

We can consider reserving some or all of these areas for large private events, subject to availability and by prior arrangement.

We can also offer private hire of the alfresco area located next door at our Swan Valley Hotel. Price on application, and subject to availability.

Is your venue accessible?

Our venue is wheelchair friendly, and is equipped with accessible toilets and ramps.

What should I wear?

The courses have lots of tall trees which provide some shade, but we would recommend wearing a hat (and plenty of high factor sunscreen) during the hottest summer months, for your comfort and protection.

You don’t need enclosed shoes to play, however, we do recommend protecting the base of your foot so thongs / flat sandals / sneakers etc would be ok.

Can I bring my dog?

We’re sorry, as much as we love dogs unfortunately not all of our patrons do, so I’m afraid we don’t allow any dogs.

Do you have golf buggies?

Sorry, we don’t have any golf buggies.

What about the weather?

We are open rain, hail or shine and only close the course in exceptional circumstances, such as the case of a severe weather event to protect our customers and/or the course.

Check our Facebook page for updates on weather closures. In the event of a course closure, credits will automatically be issued.

During the hottest summer months, we strongly advise you to ensure you stay well hydrated whilst out on the courses, for your comfort. You can take water or soft drinks, purchased onsite, out onto the course with you.

What if I lose something?

Occasionally small personal possessions, or items of clothing may get lost somewhere along the course, or accidentally left behind in your golf trolley.

If that’s the case, either speak to a member of staff if you’re still there; otherwise please submit a Non Booking Enquiry Form, providing your contact details, a detailed description of the lost item(s), including the date & time of play, and any other relevant information you feel would help us locate your item.

We will check our lost property box and let you know if it has been handed in. We also alert all our staff, including our groundskeeping staff to keep an eye out.

Can I speak to someone on the phone?

Apologies, our staff are busy throughout the day serving our golfers and unfortunately don’t have time to make phone calls.

Our new automated phone system prompts you to where to find all relevant information on our website.

If you have any further questions, not already answered on our website or in these Frequently Asked Questions, then please submit a Non Booking Enquiry form found on our website, or add them to the Messages / Comments section of the Booking Form.

Where can I leave a review?

If you’ve enjoyed your time with us at SUPA GOLF, it would mean a lot to us if you could take 2 minutes to leave us a Google Review.

We’d love you to tag us and use #supagolf on any social media posts, if you want to share memories of your visit.
